Below are the fields to complete for a Redirect component:
1. Name: enter a name for your component here.
2. Schema: select Redirect
3. InternalLink: if you wish to link to a page within your website, click the browse folder icon , navigate to a component that is included in the published page you want to redirect to, and select the component.
4. ExternalLink: if you wish to link to a separate website, enter the URL in this field.
5. Time to Redirect: enter the time, in seconds, that the redirect page should display before redirecting. If you want it to redirect instantly, put 0 in this field.
6. Text: enter any headlines or text that should appear on the redirect page here. This is a rich-text field that accepts bold font, italics, bulleted lists, and more. (This content will not display on the page if your Time to Redirect is set to 0.)
Save and close your component.
The Component Template

The Redirect component has just one component template, also named Redirect. Here's an example of how it renders:
- If the Time to Redirect field (#5) is set to 0, then nothing will display on the page. It will instantly redirect to the other page entered in either the InternalLink (#3) or ExternalLink (#4) fields.
- If the Time to Redirect field (#5) is set to anything other than 0, then the following will display:
  1. The content entered in the Text (#6) field will appear at the top of the page. In the example above, the content from that field includes a headline, some body text, and some buttons.
  2. Underneath the Text field content appears two sentences that are auto-generated by the system. They say:
    
    "You will be redirected to this page in X seconds. You may pause the redirect action or proceed directly to the redirected page."
    
    The X seconds are based on whatever time was entered in the Time to Redirect field (#5), and will count down to 0. When the time runs out, the page completes redirecting to the destination indicated in either the InternalLink (#3) or ExternalLink (#4) fields.
