This optional header box, called a Toggle Box, can be used for highlighting whatever content you would like. This is a rich-text field, so you can add links, images, bullets, etc.
Google Calendar components contain the following fields:
Name: enter a name for your component here. (This field does not display anywhere on your website, but is used to organize files within Tridion.)
Schema: select Google Calendar
Calendar Title: (optional) enter a title here. This will appear above your calendar as a subheading.
Calendar Intro: (optional) enter a short description or other introductory material here. It will display above the calendar on the page.
Google Calendar ID: paste your Google Calendar ID here. You can find this in the settings for your Calendar within Google. The Calendar ID will be formatted like XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX@group.calendar.google.com.
While you are in Google: go to the Share this Calendar tab at the top of the page. Make sure there is a check in the box next to Make this calendar public. Click the Save button at the top of the page.
Default View: select the default view for the calendar that should appear on the page when loaded:
Display these views on the calendar: you can check all, some, or none of these options. The options that are checked will appear in the upper right corner of the calendar, and allow the user to toggle between different calendar views.

Link to a full calendar view: (optional) if you have created a mini-calendar for a right-column or other small viewing area, you will need to link back to the full calendar component here. Navigate to where the full calendar component resides and select it.
When you've completed all the fields, Save and Close the component.
Component Template
The Google Calendar component has two component templates: Google Full Calendar and Google Right Column Calendar. These templates render in very similar ways, except as noted below, but the Right Column version simply squishes things down into the right column of a page.
The Calendar Title (#3) field displays above the calendar as a sub-heading on the page.
The Calendar Intro (#4) field displays underneath the Calendar Title.
If you are using a right column calendar, you are asked to link to a full calendar view (#8). This link will render directly above the calendar on the page. (Note: this link is shown above a full page calendar in the screencap below, but you do not need to create this link on a page that already uses a full page calendar view.)
The Default View (#6) sets which type of calendar will display when the page loads. In the example below, this is set to the default "month" view.
If you have checked any boxes in the Display These Views on the Calendar (#7), those options will display in the upper right corner of the full calendar view. Note: these options do not display in a right column calendar.
