MN Capitol Flag Program

Fulfilling requests to have the United States and/or State of Minnesota Flags flown over the Minnesota State Capitol Building for presentation to individuals or groups is a service provided by the Department of Administration's Facilities Management Division.

With advance notice, Flag(s) can be flown on a specific date to commemorate a retirement, anniversary, birthday, or other special occasions. Each presented Flag comes with a certificate to reflect the occasion.

Request a Flag to be Flown

To request a Flag be flown over the Minnesota State Capitol Complex, please complete the Flag Request form.

If you have lost a family member in the line of duty or a member of the US armed forces while on active duty, please fill out a Line of Duty Flag Request form below:
