SSI/SSDI Outreach, Access, and Recovery (SOAR) Pay-for-Performance and One-Time Service Funding Opportunities 2019-2020
The Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) Housing and Support Services Division is offering a Request for Proposals (RFP) to fund Supplemental Security Income (SSI)/Social Security Disability Income (SSDI) Outreach, Access, and Recovery (SOAR) activities.
The DHS Social Security Advocacy and SOAR Team’s Mission: We assist people with the Social Security disability application process so they can live in dignity and achieve their highest potential. To learn about Social Security Advocacy Programs, visit the Team’s webpage.
SOAR is a nationwide program designed to help people who are homeless, at risk of becoming homeless and have a disability that is expected to last one year or more, apply for Social Security disability benefits.
