Procurement
The Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) will issue a series of Request for Proposals (RFP) seeking qualified responders to provide health care services to eligible Minnesotans through the Medical Assistance and MinnesotaCare programs. The schedule for the release of these RFPs is as follows:
- January 2021 – RFP for the seven county metro-Twin Cities area Families and Children contracts beginning January 1, 2022 (includes Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, Scott and Washington)
- October 2021 – RFPs for statewide seniors and Special Needs BasicCare (SNBC) contracts beginning January 1, 2023
- January 2022 – RFP for greater Minnesota Families and Children contracts beginning January 1, 2023 (includes the 80 greater Minnesota counties exclusive of the 7 metro counties)
The notification of the RFP will appear in the Minnesota State Register and the RFP will be appear on the DHS public website.
