Prior Versions of Minnesota Court Rules

Past versions of the rules of court, as they appeared in the print version of Minnesota Statutes, are available below. Coverage starts with 1980. Gaps in coverage reflect years in which court rules were not published in either the Minnesota Statutes or the Statutory Supplement.

The current rules of court are available on the Minnesota Judicial Branch website and from the Office of the Revisor of Statutes page. Administrative and other documents related to court rules changes from the 1970s through 2011 can be found in the Administrative File Archive. More recent materials can be found in P-MACS, the Minnesota Appellate Case Management System.

Minnesota Rules of Court govern legal proceedings in the various courts in the state. They are adopted and amended by the Supreme Court of Minnesota.
