Minnesota Judicial Branch Links to Key Resources

 
Access Case Records – Minnesota Trial Court Public Access (MPA) Remote. MPA Remote (Minnesota Public Access) offers access to case information via the internet for certain court records in the Minnesota Court Information System (MNCIS). The information is limited as described in the MN Rules of Public Access to Records of the Judicial Branch. Court documents cannot be viewed in MPA Remote at this time.
 
Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Neutrals Roster. Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) processes are alternative methods of helping people resolve legal problems before going to court. ADR involves an independent third person, called a "neutral" who tries to help resolve or narrow the areas of conflict.
 
CHIPS Parents' Attorney Roster. Attorneys representing parents in Child in Need of Protection or Services (CHIPS) matters by appointment by a judge or county board or commission contract must meet the minimum qualifications established by the Legislature and the Judicial Council unless an authorized exception exists.  The attorneys listed on the CHIPS Parents' Attorneys Roster (PAR) meet the qualifications established by the Legislature and the Judicial Council.
 
 
Court Interpreter Roster. When you conduct an interpreter search, you will first be directed to the screen of certified interpreters.  To view the non-certified interpreters, click the appropriate button at the bottom of that screen.  Please note that there are currently certified court interpreters in the following foreign languages: Spanish, Hmong, Somali, Russian, Vietnamese, Mandarin, French and Lao. All Sign Language interpreters on the roster hold a certification.  However, when searching for interpreters, you will first be prompted to a screen demonstrating those with a legal certification.  The others can be found by clicking the "View Generalist Certified Interpreters" button at the bottom of the screen.
 
eFile and eServe. eFS is a web-based system the Minnesota Judicial Branch uses to electronically file and serve documents in the Minnesota district courts. Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Safari no longer support websites that use Silverlight, including the current eFile & eServe (eFS) website. If users are unable to use Internet Explorer they may access the eFS portal through HTML5.
 
E-MACS. The Minnesota Appellate E-Filing Application (E-MACS) provides the ability for users to electronically file documents with the Clerk of Appellate Courts in cases pending before the MN Court of Appeals and the MN Supreme Court. Electronic service may also be accomplished, in some cases, when documents are e-filed with E-MACS.
 
Guardian and Conservator Registry. The Guardian and Conservator Registry, the result of Minnesota Statute 524.5-119, is a statewide registration system for court guardians and conservators appointed under sections 524.5-101 to 524.5-502.  There are two option for searching the registry: 
  • Search by Name: Search the registry by exact, partial or similar-sounding Last/Business Name.
  • Search by Case Number: Search the registry by the Case Number associated with a Guardian/Conservator. 

Juror Questionnaire. Completing the Juror Qualification Questionnaire accurately and completely will help the courts determine if you are qualified to serve as a juror. It is important that the records regarding your name and address are accurate and up-to-date. Please remember to include any changes in your personal information when completing your questionnaire. Any incorrect information may cause delays in receiving important jury notices or your payment after you complete your jury service. Important: If you have already completed and mailed your paper Juror Qualification Questionnaire back to the court, do not complete the online questionnaire.
 
Lawyer Registration Office. The Minnesota Supreme Court's Office of Lawyer Registration maintains a searchable lawyer database and tracks the license status of all Minnesota lawyers. The Office issues annual registration notices, collects demographic and other data about lawyers, receives registration fees from lawyers, issues lawyers' license cards, and issues certificates of good standing.
 
Minnesota Court Records Online (MCRO). An online application that provides public access to Minnesota state district court records and documents.
 
MyMNConservator (MMC). MyMNConservator (MMC) is an online conservator account reporting application that allows conservators to file their inventory and annual accountings electronically.  If you are thinking about becoming a conservator, please view the Guardianship and Conservatorship Educational Video. MMC is exclusively for conservator reports.  Guardians responsible for filing annual personal well-being reports must file them electronically through their attorney or on paper.  
 
New Minnesota Government Access (“New MGA”). The Minnesota Judicial Branch offers accounts to government agencies.   New MGA accounts allow government agencies to view appropriate electronic court records and documents stored in the Minnesota Court Information System for cases in Minnesota district courts. 
 
Pay Fines. The Minnesota Court Payment Center (CPC) was established in 2009 as a means to streamline the processing of citations, offer cost-effective, convenient and alternative methods of service, and mobilize technology and automation that delivery speeds up the processing of payable citations and traffic tickets.
 
Statewide List of Approved Bail Bond Agents. All approved bail bond agents are identified on this Statewide List of Approved Bail Bond Agents.  Agents approved by one or more judicial districts before February 1, 2005, will be included on the Statewide List of Approved Bail Bond Agents. All bonding privileges shall be subject to renewal in accordance with Rule 702 (a) of the General Rules of Practice.
