The Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs (MDVA) is sharing the personal stories and experiences of our Veterans through a series of audio interviews.

These 90-second segments will explore the challenges faced by some Veterans and the MDVA services and support available to Veterans and their families.

Dave and his younger sibling both served in the Armed Forces and when Dave’s sibling died by suicide, it was a shock to their whole family. A Marine and Dave’s younger sibling, Tom died by suicide. Not knowing what Tom was going through, Dave wishes he had known more about warning signs.
