MDVA's relationship with the federal U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs encompasses many departments and services including but not limited to; claims, benefits, medical center and construction grant services. The construction grants fund 65 percent of the Veterans Homes capital projects, and the VA Health Care Systems provide acute and ambulatory care to Veterans Homes Residents.
