Military Funeral Honors
MDVA and the Minnesota National Guard Military Funeral Honors Coordinator are committed to ensuring Veterans receive proper military funeral honors to commemorate their service to the nation and to assist Veterans Service Organizations in their efforts to provide these honors. A stipend is available to Congressionally chartered Veterans Service Organizations who meet the requirements.
Request Honors
Military funeral honors for Veterans are provided by volunteers with local Veteran Service Organizations and are arranged through the funeral home. Please coordinate with your funeral director.
Minnesota National Guard Stipend
Where certain criteria are met, an additional stipend is available from the Minnesota National Guard Honors Program.
