    Volunteers at each of our Homes contribute tremendously to the quality of life of our Veterans. Volunteers provide invaluable support by sharing their experience, time and compassion with our Residents. Family members, friends and community members play a key role in helping us serve those who served through generous donations of time and money.     Family members, friends and community members play a key role in helping us serve those who served through generous donations of time and money.     Recreation Fund
    Daily recreation programs for 300 Residents $6,000/month
    $17/Resident/month

    Sponsor an in-house unit lunch i.e. pizza party, fried chicken, chinese, Subway, etc.

    		$300.00/unit
    Sponsor a seasonal meal or event

    		$200 - $500

    Resident Needs - New Items Only


    • 12 packs of pop both diet and regular
    • 12 packs of Nonalcoholic Beer such as O’Doul’s, etc.
    • 20 lb. bags of charcoal for BBQs
    • Plastic storage containers for snacks - 2 cup size
    • Books or rolls of Forever Stamps
    • Universal remotes- simple action
    • iPhone and Android phone charging blocks and cords (the squares that plug into the wall)
    • Batteries- AA,AAA
    • Disposable lens wipes (for cleaning eyeglasses)
    • White or black crew socks (only crew socks please)
    • CD/Radio boomboxes
    • Electric shavers
    • $10.00 gift cards to Target/Walmart/Amazon
    • Professional sports teams’ shirts and hats L-3X
    • Branch of service t-shirts and hats
    • MP3 players for Music and Memory program
    • Bags of Puffcorn (for Residents that have a hard time eating regular popcorn). Can be found in chip/snack area
    • Individual small bags of dry roasted peanuts
    • Seasonal Outdoor stakes/signs for patio and garden areas
    • Spring/Summer and Holiday Window Clings for Resident rooms/common areas
    • Decorative disposable table coverings, treat bags, small plates, plastic forks and spoons - seasonal
    • Gift cards to: Dollar Store, Dairy Queen, Petco/PetSmart, Bakers Square, Costco, Cub Foods, Michael’s, Domino’s Pizza, Amazon - any amount
