The Conference Committee for SF 1959, the Veterans and Military Affairs omnibus bill met for the first time on Thursday, May 8. The agenda featured a walkthrough of the side-by-side documents comparing the two versions of the bill.
Following the walkthrough, the committee recessed but never returned. All conference committees are awaiting joint budget targets from legislative leadership and the governor. The committee is expected to meet next week, but a hearing has not been scheduled.
The SF 2077 (Environment and Natural Resources budget bill) conference committee began its work on Friday.
