    Suicide Prevention Training: Question, Persuade, Refer

    /mdva/assets/2025-09-24-qpr-training_tcm1066-704102.pdfQPR Training FlyerQPR suicide prevention training, also known as gatekeeper training, teaches people without professional mental health backgrounds to recognize the signs that someone may be considering suicide, establish a dialogue, and guide the person to seek professional help.

    Participants will:

    • Learn about Question Persuade Refer (QPR) Gatekeeper Training.
    • Acquire skills for identifying warning signs of suicide and responding appropriately and quickly.
    • Identify crisis resources in the area and learn how and when to access them.

    The training is free, but advance registration is required. You can register here.
