The Wall travels to communities throughout the country allows the souls enshrined on the Memorial to exist once more among family and friends in the peace and comfort of familiar surroundings. The traveling exhibit provides thousands of Veterans who have been unable to cope with the prospect of facing The Wall to find the strength and courage to do so within their own communities, thus allowing the healing process to begin. <ul xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <li>Tuesday, Aug. 4 at 12:30 p.m. – The truck with the Wall arrives escorted by VFW & American Legion Riders (more are welcome, contact Dan Jordan at <a href="mailto:jord007@live.com" title="Email: jord007@live.com">jord007@live.com</a>). Veterans, Auxiliary and the public are encouraged to line the route to welcome the escort as it passes. This is the welcome home parade most Vietnam Veterans never had.</li> <li>Wednesday, Aug. 5 – Setup.
