MDVA will be at the State Fair! Visit our booth in the Education Building from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day of the Fair. Staff will be on hand to answer questions about Veteran benefits and services and support available from the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs and other organizations.

On Tuesday, Sept. 1, the State Fair will host Military Appreciation Day at Dan Patch Park from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. MDVA will also have an information table there and will be participating in a live recording of Minnesota Military Radio at 8 a.m. Stop by to visit with a variety of organizations serving Veterans.

At 10 a.m., the public is invited to a special Military Appreciation Day program at the Luther Auto Bandshell that will include music by the Minnesota National Guard Red Bull Band and a closing flyover. 

Military Appreciation Day at the Minnesota State Fair is a powerful annual celebration that honors active-duty service members, Veterans, and military families with a mix of patriotic ceremonies, educational outreach and lively entertainment.
