Fergus Falls Veterans Home Welcomes New Administrator

Fergus Falls, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs announced the appointment of Kalie Crayton as the new Administrator for the Minnesota Veterans Homes - Fergus Falls. She started her position on Oct. 27.

Crayton is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) and Licensed Health Services Executive (LHSE). She most recently has been providing Interim Administrator and Executive Director coverage and consulting services for long-term care facilities in several states. Her work history includes supporting organizations to achieve goals, improve Resident care, monitor regulatory requirements and improve performance.

Previously Crayton served as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator for a 70-bed skilled nursing facility in Bemidji and a 45-bed skilled nursing and 20-unit assisted living facility in Warren, Minnesota. She also has experience as an Activity Director and a Social Services Designee in senior care facilities, and as an independent home care provider.

Crayton earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Management at the University of Minnesota, Crookston.
