Vietnam War 50th Anniversary Commemoration Event Being Held Thursday, June 13 – Saturday, June 15 at Mall of America
Speakers announced for June 14 Commemoration Program celebrating Vietnam-era Veterans and U.S. Allies
ST. PAUL, Minnesota – The Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs (MDVA) is holding the commemoration event marking the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War this week, June 13-15 at Mall of America®. Over the three days, attendees can see historical museum displays, the American Veterans Traveling Tribute Wall, view Vietnam War documentaries and more. There will also be a Resource Fair with valuable resources and information for Vietnam-era Veterans and their families.
On Friday, June 14 at 11 a.m., there will be a Commemoration Program at Mall of America in the Huntington® Bank Rotunda with speakers, music and storytelling, followed by a complimentary brunch for Vietnam Veterans. Commemoration program speakers include:
Tom Lyons, Vietnam Veteran and Host of Minnesota Military Radio will MC the program.

Events happening in the Huntington® Bank Rotunda, North Atrium and Second Floor Event Space

Veterans and their families can pick up a coupon sheet at the Resource Fair that includes discounts to a variety of Mall of America attractions.
