WHAT:

The Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs invites the public to the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery – Preston for a Memorial Ceremony Sunday, May 27. Musical selections by 34th Infantry Division Band, M-Saxteen will begin at 1:30 p.m. followed by a program and a Parade of Flags. Goldstar parents David and Kay Swenson will deliver the memorial address. U.S. Representative Tim Walz (MN-01) will deliver closing remarks.

Note: Due to the high number of attendees expected, the public is encouraged to bring lawn chairs and carpool, if possible.

Tri-State area Veterans, families, general public, representatives from Veterans Service Organizations and Congressman Tim Walz

Sunday May 27th, 2018 at 1:30 p.m.
