Public Information Day at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery - Preston

WHAT:

Tree with fall colors at the Preston State Veterans CemeteryThe Minnesota Department of Veteran Affairs invites the public to the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery – Preston to view the beauty of the area fall colors and stop in during a Public Information Day to see the Administration Building and grounds, meet staff, ask questions, learn about the services provided and pre-register.

The Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery – Preston is situated on 169 acres of rolling hills and scenic beauty in Fillmore County. If guests are unable to attend the Public Information Day October 12, the regular staffed hours of the cemetery are Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

WHO:

Veterans from the tri-state area and their families
*If pre-registering, Veterans and spouses should bring a copy of their discharge papers, DD214 or similar proof of military service and a marriage certificate if applicable.

WHEN:

Wednesday, October 12 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Refreshments will be provided in the Administration Building
