Marshall Event Focuses on Preventing Veteran Suicide

WHAT :    

The seventh Annual Veterans Suicide Prevention and Awareness Day brings communities together to honor Veterans lost to suicide and offers healing and hope to survivors. Tragically, Minnesota loses about 100 Veterans to suicide each year. The Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs (MDVA) strives to increase awareness and provide resources to communities as we all work together to decrease Veteran suicide deaths in Minnesota and the region.

The event includes community time with donuts and coffee and an opportunity to visit resource tables staffed by Veteran support organizations.
