Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day Ceremony

WHAT:

The Pearl Harbor Survivors Association, Fort Snelling National Cemetery Memorial Rifle Squad, the Minnesota Historical Society and the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs are hosting the 76th Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day. This event is to acknowledge “December 7th, 1941, a date which will live in infamy,” and honor those who perished on that day, but also remember those that live on to tell the history of that inauspicious day. Bill Lunn of KSTP author of the book Heart of a Ranger will be the keynote speaker for the event. Please note: The location of the event has been changed to Historic Fort Snelling in the auditorium of the visitor’s center. Free parking will be available in the visitor center lot, and there is no cost to attend the ceremony.
