Upcoming Gold Star Family & Women Veteran Events

WHAT:

The Minnesota Department of Veteran Affairs will be hosting two separate upcoming events for Gold Star Families and Women Veterans on Saturday, Sept. 17. Gold Star Families and Women Veterans are invited to attend these events and connect with fellow Women Veterans and Gold Star Families.  The morning Women Veteran event will feature a breakfast, Eco-Therapy, a fall hike and questions and discussion. The Gold Star Family event in the afternoon will feature lunch, Eco-Therapy, a fall hike and questions and discussion.

“On behalf of all Minnesotans, I want to express our gratitude to our women veterans and Gold Star families for their service and sacrifice,” said Lt. Governor Tina Smith. “These events will provide these Minnesota heroes to connect with fellow veterans and Gold Star families, and gain access to valuable resources. I encourage all eligible Minnesotans to attend.”
