“Meat raffle” is the term commonly used to describe charitable-gambling games that award a package of meat as the prize. The most common form of charitable gambling used to conduct a meat raffle is paddlewheel without a table. Typically, the paddlewheel has 30 numbers and tickets are sold for either $1 or $2 each. Thirty or 32-number tipboards are also commonly used for meat raffles, and some meat raffles are actually conducted using raffle tickets. The applicable rules for a "meat raffle" depends pm which form of charitable gambling is used.

If raffle tickets are used, there are special raffle rules that apply to raffles with gross receipts of $60 or less.
