Each organization licensed to conduct charitable gambling must have a licensed gambling manager. The gambling manager is the person who is in charge of the day-to-day activities of the organization’s gambling operation.
There are detailed requirements to qualify for a gambling manager license (for example, never having been convicted of a felony) and to maintain a gambling manager license (for example, complete a continuing education class each year). Detailed information on these requirements can be found in the Gambling Manager License section of the Charitable Gambling Manual.
Minnesota Rules also require gambling managers to perform certain duties (for example attend a majority of the organization's regular meetings).
Form LG212: Gambling Manager Application is used to apply for a gambling manager's license.
