When the net receipts for a game are greater than the cash deposited, there is a cash shortage. When net receipts for a game are less than the cash deposited, there is a cash long.
Cash shortages are figured on a monthly basis using the Schedule B2. Organizations with any combination of a bar operation, dispensing device, or booth operation should report the games on separate Schedule B2’s for each type of operation.
