In addition to drawing ticket stubs from a receptacle to determine the winner(s) of a raffle, the Gambling Control Board has approved the alternative methods listed below. If an organization would like the board to consider other alternative methods for selecting raffle winners, it may apply to the board for approval. The board will then determine whether the proposed alternative method can be appropriately regulated to ensure the integrity of charitable gambling.
If the Board approves an alternative method for conducting a raffle, the alternative method may be used for future raffles by all organizations (licensed and exempt) without additional Gambling Control Board approval. The Board’s approval or denial will be posted on our website.
