Conducting Bingo

Information Required

General information, house rules, and name of paid employees are information required to be posted.

Selling Price and Coupons

The sales price of bingo paper sold is set when ordering bingo paper. Coupons may be used to alter the sales price.

Starting Cash Banks

A starting cash bank is money placed in the cash drawer prior to the beginning of the bingo occasion. It's used to make change and pay prizes awarded.

Selling Bingo Paper or Hard Cards

Bingo paper or hard cards are valid only during the bingo occasion for which they were purchased. Bingo paper or hard cards may not be reserved or held for any player.

Selling Food and Beverages

An organization may not purchase food and beverage items using lawful gambling funds. This includes coffee, cups, and candy.

Before the Game Begins

Before the game begins, there must be inspection of bingo balls and bingo boards, replacement of defective bingo balls, announce pattern and prize, and display prizes.

Cancellation of Bingo Occasion

Requirements regarding a cancelled or discontinued bingo occasion.

Calling Bingo Numbers

The game begins with the first called letter and number of a randomly drawn or selected bingo number.

Bingo Boards

A bingo board may be used in leiu of a bingo ball selection device.
