Combining a raffle with the purchase of another item on the same ticket is not allowed with the exception of a button raffle, a membership event raffle, or a raffle conducted in conjunction with a fishing or hunting contest.
An event button may be used as a raffle certificate of participation in conjunction with a traditional raffle ticket.

The Gambling Control Board may approve alternative methods for selecting raffle winners. To date, fifteen different alternative methods of selection have been approved.
