Call for Presenters! 2022 Collaborative Experience Conference

The Collaborative Experience Conference for parents and professionals serving students who are deaf, deafblind, and hard of hearing will take place, virtually, on November 3-5, 2022. The conference theme is "Supporting the Whole Child: Reboot."


We are searching for presenters on the following topics:

  • Accommodations, modification, and adaption of curriculum, material, and instruction
  • Cultural Competency
  • Deaf/Hard of Hearing with diverse/multiple cultural and linguistic backgrounds
  • Deaf, Deafblind and hard of hearing with multiple disabilities
  • DeafBlind topics
  • Educational interpreting
  • Positive Behavior Intervention
  • Racial issues related to equity, racism, ableism, audism
  • Reading Preparation
  • Specific workshops for parents
  • Strategies/Resources for Mental Health needs for teachers
  • Strategies/Resources for Mental Health needs for parents
  • Strategies/Resources for Social-Emotional Supports/Development
  • Suicide Prevention

About the Collaborative Experience

The 2022 Collaborative Experience Conference is to be held virtually this year. It is the go-to event for professionals who work with deaf, deafblind and hard of hearing from early childhood to high school/transition seeking to advance their knowledge and practice through a range of online learning experiences designed to offer them the very latest research, practices, and teaching strategies. Parents of deaf, deafblind and hard of hearing children are encouraged to participate in this virtual conference.
