Workshop description

This session will start with a general overview of assessments, tips and tricks, ideas and areas to address for initial and 3 year reevaluations.  We will work in small groups to come up with lists of resources for a variety of student needs.  Bring your ideas and share your favorite tools with the group.  Leave with a list of tools, resources and ideas to help you in completing your evaluations.

About the presenters

Kim Konerza

Kim Konerza, TDHH, TBVI, NAD III, completed Interpreter Training Program at St. Paul College. She has a B.S.in Elementary Education at St. Cloud State University and a M.Ed. D/HH at University of MN. Kim also has additional licensure TBVI from Salus University. She has completed Intervener Training and worked as an itinerant DHH and BVI teacher at Sherburne Northern Wright Special Education Cooperative for 23 years. Kim is currently working for PAWN (Park Rapids, Akeley, Walker, Nevis) as a DHH teacher.

Vicki Anderson

Vicki M. Anderson, AuD has more than thirty years of experience in both clinical and educational audiology. Vicki has worked in several large special education co-ops, as well as hospitals and ENT/Audiology practices. Vicki currently contracts with fifteen plus charter schools and rural public school districts.
