The importance of Experience Books are necessary tools to document the learning of students. They are created in conjunction with experiential learning sessions to build concepts and develop literacy skills in math and reading.
Krista Dillman has been an active member in the D/deaf and hard of hearing community for over 30 years as an American Sign Language interpreter, married into a D/deaf family, mother to several D/deaf and hard of hearing children, and a DHH teacher for four years. She holds multiple interpreting certificates and Master's degrees in Counseling Psychology, Deaf Education, and Teaching DeafBlind students.
