MNCDHH is thrilled to announce that we have posted the videos of the five keynote presentations from the 2019 Collaborative Experience Conference. All videos are accessible via ASL and English and they are captioned. A descriptive transcript is also available for each presentation. The keynotes are as follows:

  • Assessment Results as a Tool for Effective Family-Based Communication Development by Kristina Blaiser
  • Language Justice for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Students: Bringing 'Translanguaging' to Life by Gloshanda Lawyer
  • Language Play Through ASL Rhymes and Rhythms by Hands Land
  • Raising the Bar for Postsecondary Success by Stephanie Cawthon
  • Supporting the Whole Child: Supporting the Gift of a Different Ability by Karen Putz

In addition to the 2019 keynotes, you can explore the keynotes from the 2015, 2016, and 2017 Collaborative Experience Conferences on the same URL.

We would like to thank the keynote presenters, moderator, panelists, CART providers, sign language interpreters, InHouse Media, vendors, exhibitors, sponsors and most of all, our conference participants. Our Collaborative Conference was an amazing experience. We strongly believe that all of our students who are deaf, deafblind and hard of hearing will benefit from our continued partnership and knowledge sharing.
