Types of Lawful Gambling

In Minnesota, lawful gambling—more commonly referred to as "charitable gambling"—consists of pull-tabs, raffles, bingo, tipboards, and paddlewheels. It is a totally different endeavor than the Minnesota Lottery, horse racing, or tribal gaming. In FY2022, the charitable gambling industry in Minnesota had $4.2 billion in gross receipts—the largest in the nation!
