SF1024 (Maye Quade) will be heard by the Senate Education Policy committee.
This bill will protect Metro Deaf School’s ability to give preferential enrollment to students with a primary disability of deaf, deafblind, or hard of hearing.
Testifiers are being provided by Metro Deaf School. Sen. Maye-Quade also plans to do an author's amendment to add 'deafblind' to the bill language. MNCDHH has submitted a letter of support.
