[Descriptive transcript for the Lobby Day film]
Deaf, DeafBlind, and Hard of Hearing Day at the Capitol is a special day. Members of the deaf, deafblind, and hard of hearing communities and supporters will gather at the Minnesota State Capitol Complex. Together, we'll sit down with our legislators for a conversation to address pressing issues and concerns that impact our deaf, deafblind, and hard of hearing community.
Stay tuned! We will announce a 'save the date' after January 1, 2025.
Lobby Day is an exciting event that brings together deaf, deafblind, and hard of hearing constituents, friends, family members, and allies, and their legislators to discuss issues that are near and dear to their constituents' hearts.
This is your chance to educate your legislators about the importance of communication access and equal opportunity. Your meetings with your legislators are the most important thing you do at Lobby Day and it really does make a difference! Plan to be a part of this important day.
