Building a Foundation of Language sets children up for academic and emotional success.  Visit these two new series of films to learn tips and strategies for interacting with your child.

  • Family Series: For families of Deaf and Hard of Hearing Children
  • Professional Series: For professionals working with families of Deaf and Hard of Hearing Children 

Family Series: In this new webinar series you will learn strategies for best practices to interact with your child during your everyday routines to help them learn language and emerging literacy. Children who have a strong foundation in language and mindfulness practices have better outcomes in school and have a more positive sense of self.

Professional Series (to be viewed after the Family Series videos): In this new webinar series you will learn how to help families communicate with their young Deaf and Hard of Hearing children during everyday routines. You will learn how to help them practice interactive strategies to help them foster language and early literacy with their child.  Children who have a strong foundation in language and mindfulness practices have better outcomes in school and have a more positive sense of self. As a professional, you are a key player.
