Pharmacists need to complete at least 30 hours of continuing education (CE) every two years. If you are a new registrant you can log into your online account to find out how many hours of CE you will need to complete.
Go to the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy website (or click here), click on the link labeled “On-Line Service” and log in to your registration record. Once in your account you can click on “Continuing Education”. There you will see how many CE hours you will need to complete.
Log in to your online account on the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy website and click on the box that indicates that you have completed your CE hours. If you are unable to log in to your account or are having trouble with your account, you can also go to the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy website, click on the Forms tab and select the “Pharmacist Certification of Completion of Continuing Education”.
If the CE relates to the practice of pharmacy, go to the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy website and click on the Forms tab. Select the form “CE - Approval Form for Non-ACPE Approved Program Attendees”. Fill out the form completely. You must submit the form along with your certificate of participation and the course summary, as well as the syllabus or outline. Allow 60 to 90 days for approval.
On the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy website, in the Forms tab, select the form “CE - Application to Become a Minnesota Approved CE Provider”. Submit the requested information at least 60 to 90 days prior to the program date for approval.
