James Bialke

James Bialke spent 28 years working for unions that represent both licensed and non-licensed health care workers in a variety of settings. Among other positions, he served as Chief of Staff of Services Employees International Union Healthcare Minnesota and as Executive Director of the Minnesota Nurses Association. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Minnesota and a Master of Arts in Industrial Relations from the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management.

James is a Public Member of the Board and was appointed by Governor Mark Dayton in January, 2016.
