"After three years in the making, the Mankato market has been selected for a pilot program that aims to increase awareness of hearing loss for older Minnesotans.

"The program launches on Thursday and will take place at approximately 15 locations around the state in coordination with the Commission of Deaf, DeafBlind & Hard of Hearing Minnesotans. The program will work in collaboration with researchers at the University of Minnesota to gather more data."
