With up to $13M in funding, Commerce will be releasing this grant as two separate application processes. One application will fund equipment (infrastructure and vehicles) directly. The other round will fund technical assistance for planning, deployment, or grant applications.​

Commerce will run both application processes every year until the end of 2026 or until funds run out, whichever come first.
