Note about EV Rebate Status

In 2023, the Legislature appropriated over $15 million for rebates to Minnesotans purchasing new or used EVs. From February 7, 2024 to January 3, 2025, Commerce sent out more than 6,600 rebates across the state, with recipients in 75 of Minnesota’s 87 counties.

All funds for the State of Minnesota EV rebate program have been claimed. We are no longer taking new applications. For non-tax related questions about the EV Rebate program, contact the team at MNEVRebate.COMM@state.mn.us.
