COBRA participants may make some changes to their coverage during Open Enrollment:

  • You may change medical or dental plan administrators for yourself and/or your family.
  • You may add or cancel medical, dental, or vision coverage for your dependents are eligible for coverage through you.
  • You may add or cancel vision coverage for yourself or your family.

Scam Reminder: 

Employees have received phone calls in the past where the caller claims to be from SEGIP. These callers ask for personal information or tell employees they must change their benefits. SEGIP will never call and ask an employee or retiree to confirm their sensitive information or tell them they can get coverage elsewhere.
