Ray McCoy

Hello, my name is Ray McCoy! I first came to Minnesota as a young child and grew up in St Paul. I completed my undergrad training in Sociology from Augsburg University and my graduate training at Penn State in Community and Economic Development. After graduating from undergrad in 2005, I began my career as an AmeriCorps VISTA, which eventually led to me gaining more than ten years of outreach experience in various professional settings. In 2010, I landed a VISTA position in Chester, PA (a suburb outside of Philadelphia) where I got my first exposure to working in employment services at the State WorkForce Center, PA CareerLink, where I worked with disabled Veterans by connecting them with employers through the Delaware Valley region.
