The following is a list of recent energy studies and reports from the Minnesota Department of Commerce. It includes legislative reports/studies, CARD project reports, meetings, and more.

Refrigeration Thermal Energy Storage for Energy Efficiency and Peak Demand Reduction

Slipstream executed this CARD study to assess the potential that Refrigeration Thermal Energy storage (RTES) systems have to deliver energy savings and demand reduction in Minnesota’s refrigeration sector. Given the large number of refrigerated warehouses, industrial food processing facilities, and supermarkets in Minnesota, there is significant potential for RTES deployment.
