May 31 is the third paycheck of the month for many state employees. Here’s what that means:
This paycheck will be higher for most employees. That’s because no insurance premiums get subtracted from this check. You pay for insurance from two paychecks a month.
Only individuals with retroactive charges due would have insurance premiums deducted from a third paycheck in a month.
Insurance premium deductions resume on the June 14 paycheck.
The next month when you’ll get three paychecks is November 2024.
