Work Underway to Bring WebMD ONE to State Employees

WebMD ONE is how employees will access all WebMD Health Services has to offer. The website and app offer a personal approach to well-being. It provides each participant resources on topics of interest to them. Details on how to register for WebMD ONE will be announced in the spring. Highlights of the platform are:

  • WebMD Health Services app. Use your smartphone or tablet to tap into services.
  • One-on-one coaching to inspire, motivate, and educate you.
  • Health assessment is optional. The survey asks you your level of interest in various health related topics and invites you to opt in to receive details about only those topics.
  • Podcasts and videos on a variety of topics.
  •  Digital coaching. Get reminders, encouragement, and tips on topics your select.
  • Our own community of communities. Choose to be part of a support system. Share helpful tips, discuss your experiences, and join conversations that will help you stay engaged.

Watch the website and your inbox for more details. Registration information will be shared as soon as the state's site is up.

Why the change?

Earlier this year, Minnesota Management and Budget held a competitive bid process for a well-being services vendor. WebMD Health Services won the bid. The state's contract with Virgin Pulse, the current well-being services vendor, ends Dec. 31, 2023.

Note: WebMD ONE and WebMD Health Services are not online medical clinics. State employees will keep using their medical insurance through Blue Cross or HealthPartners for online care.
