Some employees have received phone calls claiming to be from SEGIP. These callers are asking for personal information or telling employees they must change their benefits. We will never call and ask an employee to confirm their sensitive information or tell them they can get free coverage elsewhere.

Please HANG UP if you receive a call from someone claiming to be from the State of Minnesota, Employee Insurance, or SEGIP and offering free health insurance or asking for personal information.

Contact SEGIP to notify us of suspicious calls or to confirm if a call you received is a legitimate phone call.
