Great news for SEGIP members who receive care through Fairview Health Services: Blue Cross and Fairview recently announced agreement on a new contract. This means that Fairview will continue to be available through Blue Cross in 2017. Blue Cross members who were still evaluating their options regarding a possible change need not do anything more. Members who already switched to PreferredOne in the past month will remain with PreferredOne for 2017, with access to Fairview at Cost Level 2, and should be receiving new ID cards in the mail by the end of December.

This is a great outcome for SEGIP membership, and we thank Blue Cross and Fairview for coming together on this important issue.
