The Health and Dental Premium Account (HDPA) allows you to pay your share of your employer's state-sponsored single or family medical and/or dental coverage premiums with pre-tax dollars if you are an active employee on payroll. You are automatically enrolled in this program when you sign up for insurance and it must be waived in order to pay your premiums on an after tax basis.
