Congress is working on a budget reconciliation bill. The bill includes plans for budget cuts for Medicaid. Medicaid is an important lifeline for seniors and some children and adults with disabilities. 

How to take action

Contact your elected representatives. Use The Arc's Medicaid Action tool to urge your U.S. Representatives and Senators to vote NO on Medicaid cuts. It only takes two minutes. A full House vote is scheduled for May 19, 2025 so it's important to reach out to your representative before then.
